Running along the seine and the main attraction! And the 4 euro bottle of wine we drank after!
I thought I’d attempt to record a segment of my day to day livings when o/s for the next two months. Hopefully all going well it will consist mostly of all the amazing places I’ve gone for a run!
We arrived in sweet Paris at 2:00pm after 25 hours of traveling and headed via train to our gorgeous little Parisian apartment!
The one thing I’d been hanging out for was to run down the Seine as soon as I arrived! I had even gone to the extreme of not running for two months at home to allow my hip to heal!
Starting at our apartment I jogged down to the Seine, along the river for 10 mins up to the Notre Dame, where my tourist instincts kicked in and took some photos. After that I ran around the Notre Dame, walking in some places to avoid people congestion. I then made my way home down lovely cobblestone pathways and along the river ( I walked for 10mins for my hip) and tab the last 1km. Surprisingly I only saw 2 other guys out running which seemed a bit strange.
All in all it was everything I’d wanted, I was exhausted by 8pm but that might be a combination of jetlag and running!
Now back to sleep for me. Ill post a few pics! Still learning how to do this from the phone.
I’m a fan :)
